If you read the 2012 Ireland Trip Reports, you know that Diane broke her ankle in May. We made it home and she worked hard on physical therapy determined to be able to go on our planned trip to Newfoundland in July. She succeeded! This trip consisted of two parts. The first was a Road Scholar birding trip and for the second part we were entirely on our own. Since people had enjoyed the Ireland Trip Reports, I decided to try and continue the practice. A few other friends had heard about the Ireland reports and asked to be added to the list.
